Yesterday we had some questions to do for homework. So I put a littel on my blog so that people can se what kind of questions.
Create a table of al the foodstuffs, 1) WHERE and 2) HOW they are stored and 3) WHY they must be stored in these ways and place.
Meat | Freezer | In a sealed container. | So that other insects cant sit on it, or other animals cant eat it, or bacteria cant spread. |
Milk | Fridge | Must have a lid on , or bucket must be closed. | Because it can become sour , or bacteria can spread. |
Fruit | Fridge | Must be in plastic bag. | Because it can be froth very soon , or bacteria can make it bad. |
Milk powder | Container | Must be sealed in container. | Because bacteria can spread on it , or fungi’s can be on it if it become wet. |
Vegetables | Freezer | Must be close. | For bacteria that can spread. |
Why is it important to be aware of OHS procedures when working at the WLC?
What are potential health hazards and how do you overcome these?
Because if you don’t now the safety of your working environment and something happens you will loss your job. And before you do or working at the WLC you must go through the procedures, for your safety and the people around you and also for the animals. And if you don’t, the WLC will loss people and animals and it will go under.
You must look at the hazards, and if something is happening you must report it eminently to your supervisor.
