SPECIFIC OUTCOME 1 

Define basic concepts of cultural heritage resource management.

ASSESSMENT CRITERION 1 

An explanation is given of the concept "Cultural Heritage Resource Management". 

Cultural and natural: The difference between them.
Cultural: Passed down from one generation to another.
Natural: Worth preserving.
Reassures management site.

Stay the same- It can’t get lower it have to be equal or higher. Manage site that it will be sustainable.


ASSESSMENT CRITERION 2 

The concept of "Cultural Heritage Resource Management" is related to the needs of South African society. 

 It is passed down from one generation to another. It’s a resource.

ASSESSMENT CRITERION 3 

An outline is given of the connection between cultural heritage resource management and nature conservation. 

You can’t do RG without looking at the natural heritage site. Must found normally natural heritage sites.


ASSESSMENT CRITERION 4 

An overview is presented of the most important principles of cultural heritage resource management. 

Satiability
Monet –  To start a business.
Tourism –  People to come visit.
Recurs and development – What you found.
Infrastructure –  Road for everyone.
Aesthetics- Place must look nice.

Describe local cultural heritage practices, traditions and sites.

Sites within the area of operation are visually identified. 

ASSESSMENT CRITERION RANGE 

Existing sites, previously unidentified sites are recognized.
 
State that it is already there. They must look at it and maintain it.
Or go to places to look for a place that is reconised on a site.

A description is given of local practices and traditions relevant to a site.
